Things I rememberd after last night's race

Hello,

I remembered:
  • After the TdF starts, people try imitating the pro peleton by causing big crashes
  • After the TdF starts, people figure that a flat 1-hour crit is like a flat 200K stage and the only thing that matters is sitting in until the final sprint making the average speed of the 1-hour crit very slow
  • After the TdF starts, everyone in the pack thinks they are Tom Boonen or Robbie McEwen or Thor Hushovd or the sprinter du jour, but they sprint like a bunch of amateurs who are barely in control
I also remembered that most people who look sketchy are sketchy. (Yes, I know that we were all sketchy at one time, but don't be sketchy in the middle of the pack! Hang at the back and learn how to ride in a race pack there.)
