This afternoon, I was plesantly surprised to be greeted by a large package on my doorstep wrapped in blue plastic -- My LAS Crono from PBK arrived. After fiddling to make the helmet fit, I took a photo of myself to see how it looked... This leads to my actual question: does the helmet need to sit flush against the body?

I recall a thread comparing a Bell Meteor available to consumers vs the one that Zabriskie uses. It has been shown that Zabriskie (and other pros) have extra styrofoam added under their chrono helmet tail in order to remove the gap between rider & helmet. I'm toying with the idea of adding extra material to my helmet, but would like to know if it'd be worth the effort.

Your head is breaking too much wind. See if you can drop your head between your shoulders without rolling your back. Some call it "turtling" your neck.

Good position to me, although the saddle looks a touch too high. But it's a pic, so don't take my word for it if you're comfortable.

don't worry about it being flush. Get your head lower. Enjoy the helmet.
