And on the 78th Day, Pcad Rested.

I have ridden daily since April 30th without respite, and accordingly, I am Wasa.

I will attempt to not ride my bike today. It will not be easy. But it's actually kind of relaxing watching those Tour kids bust their humps while Pcad sips java in the kitchen. This might be enjoyable.

This could however portend a Pcad PR for BF Posts in a Day. So be forewarned.

Way to see the light before walking into the light.

...of course there's still time for a 60 minute recovery spin.

When you live on Mt. Doom (the hill Casa CAD sits atop) you get great views. But there is no such thing as a 'recovery ride' when the last mile to the driveway includes 15%+ grades.

I have a 39 x 25 on one bike. But it's not always light enough for easy days going up that hill. I can't bring myself to go 39 x 27. I'll get a helmet mirror first.

Oh well. You can't have everything.

Here's a suggestion: go "pilot" your crotchrocket. still on two wheels, but no effort required.

I was planning on it. A day without two wheeled conveyance (motorized or not) is a day without sunshine.

It's 6:43AM. It's pouring rain. I have a client meeting at noon in Dix Hills, Long Island (a 90 min. + drive each way). I'm enjoying this 'rest day' experience.

Maybe I will try rest day(s). The Tour will be on the DVR when I get home.

I think one at a time is adequate for now. Just try to convince yourself to take one at least every 4-6 days.
