Got an estimate of how much CdA dropped compared to your old frame?

Not yet...it's been too cold in the mornings (or raining on the weekend days I want to do it) to do any field testing yet this year. But, based on the wind tunnel numbers of a P3C vs. a Transition published by Mark Cote of Specialized (they are basically "tied"), there's no reason to think that it should be any different than what I observed a couple of years back when I did the head to head test of my old P2K vs. a P3C. In that case, it was ~1-2 s/km, which would translate to a CdA reduction of ~.01-.02 m^2.

Of course, when I finally do test it, it won't be exactly an "apples to apples" comparison to my old setup since I've slightly changed some positional details (mostly related to the bars) in an effort to not harm the CdA but possibly improve my power output on the TT bike (get it even closer to my road bike capability). I guess I just can't leave well enough alone

moment by moment I get closer to posing a pic of my new rig... it's basically ready for a pic, but it is certainly not safe to ride outdoors!

Possibly...I measured myself at ~.205 m^2 on the P3C, and that wasn't with the Scott 100K bars I run now...

For an aluminum frame with external cables it seems quite good. You could use an aero fork...

Hello,

The main piece of information that I can provide is that this particular frame is no longer available from Bianchi. I have seen it on ebay a couple of times. I don't know how many Bianchi made over the couple of years that it was in their lineup.

Here is how it looked when I finally went under an hour in a 40K TT this past weekend:

Put an adjustable stem on the bike to get the bars a little lower per my fitter's recommendation. Also put a Chorus UT crank on it to replace the older aluminum Chorus (square taper) crank.

My 2007 Six13 Slice with new aerobars (that don't twist around) handlebar tape and Zipp 404 tubies. Longer stem than it came with, the bars are higher but my back is flat, position feels and looks great now.
