Typical field sizes for your races?

Just curious as to how many riders you toe the line with weekly.

Please include category.

The cat 3 races around here are 25-40. The big stage race of the summer brought about 75.

Masters races have between 10 and 25

i haven't raced in a little while, but cat 4 around here can get pretty huge...often selling out at 100 for popular races. the weekly local races can see 50-70 or more but even those fill up competely once in a while.

Cat3, IL, 50-70 generally. Low of 20, high of 90 or so. SuperWeek fields were generally around 60-70 guys, I think.

MABRA:
Early season (March through end of May)
Cat 3 - typically full. For crits that means 75 - 100, for RRs that means 60 - 75. Bigger/more popular and NRC events fill up quickly. Masters: 30+ are typically in the 30 to 50 starters range, when combined with the 40+, then fields are typically full (similar #s as above).

July through season end:
Except for RRs and the more popular crits (reston, silver spring) fields fill up much slower and sizes are typically smaller, but all the "players" are still there.

In MABRA - if you're a Cat 4 or Cat 5, you better be at a computer when race registration opens up or have a blackberry you can use to register with, otherwise, it's difficult to get into races.

Open cat races in Japan are 30-100 people. I have two races on Sunday and my numbers are 18 and 88.

Cat 3 races are very typically full up for crits @ 90. Some RR's allow 100. P-1-2 seem to be less full although well attended.

Here the 5's have had anywhere from 25-60. The 4's seem to be the largest fields here with probably an average of 50 or more. The numbers start to go down as the Cat goes up...
