Cyclingpeaks question
does anyone know how to exclude 0s for averaging power on the program? For example, i turned 0s off on my powertap computer, today i averaged 171 watts according to my powertap computer, but according to cyclingpeaks, i only averaged 145.

You can't turn off zero averaging in Cpeaks. Why would you want to?

You should count time at zero power because your body gets to rest during that time.

I saw some interesting power data at a seminar that Allen Lim gave a while ago. He showed time at zero power for a number of pro riders in a certain race and made some comments about the correlation between time spent "resting" vs working and the results they got. Ok so it's a bit more complicated than that, but the general drift he was getting at had to do with the importance of conserving your efforts in races.
