Saul Raisin Races

Saul will race in the US Pro in Greenville in September 1. What an achievement.

I got a note from Dave Shields, the author of Tour de Life. That's the book about his accident, and his recovery.

This is a piece that was done in Utah, where Saul lives now for training that's pretty cool.

Go Saul...Raisin Hell.

BTW...if he can overcome the mental aspects of this, he's got the physical skills to be a grand tour winner. His cardio is off the charts.

BTWII...Kudos to the Credit Agricole team for sticking with Saul when they could have walked away. They did everything right.

Is it true that he married one of Dave Z's sisters in law?

Believe it's actually Dave Z's biological sister. Her name's Aleeza, and she's mentioned alllllll over the place on his site (www.saulraisin.com).

He is engaged (maybe married by now) to Dave's sister. I believe this is why he lives in Utah, in addition to the great training that is offered.

That is correct. On his website he mentions that the two of them have decided to move to Europe, france I believe.
