Local Races With Great Crowds

Reading the thread about the Erie St. race got me to contemplating. What local races have you done with consistently good crowds? A couple come to mind; A to Z (Athens OH), Erie St (Windsor ON), there used to be two TDM stages Frankenmuth and Lansing that were wall to wall around the whole course.

The Iron Hill Twilight Criterium - West Chester, PA. There was several thousand people there for the men's 3/4 race. Definitely a cool feeling to here those people cheering you on. Too bad I got my arse handed to me that day.

You don't mean the Common Crit in Lansing, do you?

Redmond Derby Days, Redmond WA. I wasn't able to race this crit, but showed up to cheer on some team mates of mine and be the team photographer for the day. It's in conjunction with a city festival and so directly nextdoor are multiple dozens of food vendors, local artists, etc., a live music stage, and carnival rides. The crowd this last year was noteworthy by my relatively uneducated standards in that there seemed to be quite a number of observers/bystanders not related to or involved with any of the racers/teams. The course is marked off very well, races are lead out with a police motorcycle escort, etc. It's a cool festival atmosphere. I hope to participate next year.

Healthnet Twilight Crit in Portland, OR. Someone (don't remember who or where) was saying they were expecting a crowd of 10,000 people. I don't think it was quite that many, but the beer garden was packed for the P12 race, that I know for sure.
