I was racing at the Junior North Atlantic TT Championships the day of this race (which I won by 2'24" over 2nd) so I couldn't be there at the race, but my team did send a squad to race in the Junior event. The field of juniors was pretty strong with a lot a national championships having been won by participants.
Anyway, while one of my teammates won the Junior race at the NYC Championships, another crashed in the event and broke his wrist. He got back up though, chased back on with the broken bone, and sprinted for 4th!!! (I won't use names, but you can see if you look at the junior results on cyclingnews.com) Anyway the organizers of the race commented that his performance was a lot like Hamilton's in the tour, and so my teammate and Hamilton started talking after the race, and the two of them had lunch together.
I thought that was pretty cool.

I was there... saw Frankie Andreu and winner Marty Nothstein. Frankie was super nice; shaking hands, signing autographs, talking to the fans (even when it was raining.)

Sorry it's taking me so long. I will post another message for all to view the video once it's completed and uploaded.
