Ginormous guads.

(disk will tend to be more aero. But a tri-spoke on the front would do more... and probably weigh less... or jet get a pair of high-profile rims)

It depends on your uses, but a disc will be faster aerodynamically. That being said, it needs to be a H3, not "similar" to an H3. But my vote is still a disc if buying a rear wheel.

But the difference between a disk and a HED3 is greater than the difference from front to rear.

Yeah, I had read somewhere that a deep/aero front over a semi-aero makes more difference than a rear disk over a rear semi-aero. The rear wheel is drafting off the whole bike, and the air is pretty dirty by the time it gets back there because of the legs.

I can't recall my source though...

ya just to clarify my question was - if you had to choose between a disk in the back or a hed3 in front for rolling time trials? if i chose the disk the front would be neuvation r28 same if i chose the hed3 the back would be the neuvation.
hope that is a little clearer. thanks for the input so far

Yes. A good wheel cover is equal to a disk.

The boys over at Slowtwich claim little if any difference, just weight in most cases, these guys are putting wheel covers on everything 404's,808s.
