Dialing in fit, spreadsheet

Ok.. well. Maybe ya'll have a good place to get this done already, but I've been mucking around with stem lengths and angles and - while currently happy with my set up on the new bike, I wanted to know how changes in stem angle/length/spacers would affect my current set up.

That being said, I threw together the trig/formulas to get the right numbers in an excel spreadsheet and figured ya'll would find it useful. The Habenero picture was nice, but I like real numbers.

What version of office did you make it in please? Never mind it does seem to be working. I have only Office 2000 and have in the past met some surprising compatability problems.

Very useful, thanks!

Very cool. Is the nose-to-bars measurement to the center of the bars?

NomadVW 10-25-07 12:20 AM

Yah, nose to center on top is how I measure.

The file as linked in the OP has been updated to correct some bad math and to work properly with stem measurements as they publish them. A note added for people like me that are just learning how these things work! :)

Quite annoying I might add how people publish stem lengths
