What is your chocolate foot?
Just curious. Mine is my left.

Left on the road, right on the trails.....

If I'm interpreting correctly, I'll have to say right.

my foot is both feet. I am crazy like that. it depends on the situation.
I train to balance power between both feet. |
Goofy foot here - right foot forward.
|
left foot foward while trackstanding (with front wheel turned to the left) and descending/coasting.
right foot stays clipped in when I'm stopped. so both, I guess. |
I'm still clueless on what the original question means.

clueless in Connecticut, cdr About Chocolate Foot This is a mountain biking site. I, and others like me, needed a place to keep bike related stuff, so I it just might as well be online. Oh, and in case you're wondering, your chocolate foot is whichever foot you lead with when you ride. |
Left foot.
I guess that it started when I was 6 years old and riding a frame that was WAY too big for me. To stop I would pull up next to the curb and put my right foot down on the curb, so I always started with my left foot. I'm guessing that me using the left foot first is purely a product of which side of the road traffic is on in the US. |

Well, the link I supplied earlier shows:

Oh, and in case you're wondering, your chocolate foot is whichever foot you lead with when you ride. I put my right foot down if I put a foot down. My left foot stays clicked in. I tend to keep my feet clipped in until I get off the bike or I recently fumbled a click in and I want to practice. Jeez, who figures out this terminology. I need a new dictionary lol. cdr |
Left hand.
