Ugliest National Champ Kit Ever

What is the deal with Levi's USA champ kit? Good lord, is it ugly. (I wish I could find a picture of it, but on the other hand, maybe it's better that I can't. If you've seen it, you know.)

For that very reason alone, ASO has banned Astana from riding in the TdF. It's a simple measure of aesthetics, Astana - get with it!

Hi,

It seems like the past few years they've been trying to meld national championship jerseys with the trade team jerseys. Zabriskie's skinsuit from the prologue was awful IMHO. Millar's wasn't much better. Cancellara's World Champion skinsuit was only OK.

If I was the national champ, I'd want the kit to be as ugly as possible.

"Yeah, I'm wearing ugly kit. Check it out. Especially where it says national champ."

I am aware that this is missing the point. Still true.

And I don't even find it that ugly actually. But no one ever asks me for fashion advice.

...he showed up for his first road race wearing a garish jersey, a visored helmet, and a pair of brilliantly colored Argyle socks, pulled high... "You like my socks?" he asked. "How do you like them now?" They gasped for air. "I'll take that for a yes... how about if I go alittle farther up the road, and you can tell me how they look from there?"

Daniel Coyle, on Floyd Landis.

Doesn't look terrible to me. I've always thought the U.S jerseys looked bad and I'm glad to see they are trying to change it.

That jersey should read "Kantstandya"

well look at the bright side, at least he doesn't ride for High Road. What would happen if 70s crappy design met 80s crappy natl champ jersey? The combined suck-osity could create a black hole or something

First off I ain't saying I like the design. Also, I ain't saying that Levi is my personal favorite.

But, to be able to wear one (not matter what it looks like) would be nice. Heck, the closest thing I can wear that says "Champion" on it is the sports apparel.
