Tuesdsay nighter -- finally!

I'm so glad it's back. Four of us are riding out there from our office. This really makes up for the slack calendar in the late spring and early summer.

Anyone else hitting it?

Not only am I 'hitting it', I've already 'hit it' this morning.

this is where i'll probably disappoint.

i don't normally yell on a group ride if it's my 1st time there.

then again, i've come close to yelling at a few of your team/clubmates.

daylight savings time ROCKS! Our Tuesday nighter is finally at a time i can make it. There are a few big dogs who like to show up; the pack usually splits up 10 miles into it.

Yeah, we have a Cat 1 on my team who attacks from the first mile of the A group. We get no 10 mile grace period

Until May, we won't have enough daylight to have an A and a B group, so the Bs will be falling back into their own pack over the first lap. Tough going there.

As and Bs all ride out together and get split by natural selection around 10 miles in. Since theres only enough daylight for 20 or so miles for the first few weeks most of the group will be together for the entire ride.

As a new cyclist, I found out that Tuesday is a popular ride/crit/circuit night.

Any reason behind this?

Hell yes.

I have no clue when our group rides, the A and B, start up, but I plan on being the first idiot to wind it up and lob a prayer up the road. Because I don't have anything better to do, and it'll help me round into shape much faster.

The reason Snoboarder mentioned the 10 mile grace period is because the ten miles is all stop signs and red lights with a lot of traffic. If one is not careful, you could probably get yourself killed quick. It was a lot of fun though tonight even though Snoboarder was late... of course.
