Branchbrook Park March 22, 2008 Report

Short version: I broke my chain.

Long version: I attacked from the gun. I was chased down. My shifting got a little screwy. I adjusted the barrel adjuster. The guy who won last week attacked. I followed.

I broke my F*&king chain.

That's not what Lance meant by 'no chain' Dr. W.

I consider this Pre-emptive Karma for your threat to sandbag my 35+ races. Better luck next week. My advice: pedal softer you friggin animal.

Pcad, you're hilarious!

The only time I've ever 'broken' my chain was when I installed the connecting pin wrong and the link started to separate after about 30 miles. I got lucky since I had just gone for a hard ride the day before it happened, and it happened when I was testing something out on the bike at the LBS. Talk about lucky...
