Now what chainrings do I replace these with?
Went out for a ride today and stood to unleash a mighty uphill sprint. At 1252 watts, this ring evidently didn't like it anymore.
There's your BB flex waterrockets. Popped the chain, came under the FD and bent the ring. Spent the last 90' riding tempo in the small ring. Luckily it was windy as hell.
So, who makes the best replacement ring? FSA?

Why is it that when I drop chains I tear my ACL or take 31mph shoulder dives into the pavement?
It just ain't fair.

Making a kilometer blurry
Man, yeah that's some flex there. I will say that 1622W has not been enough to get the chain off my 62cm jungle gym. Maybe my bike's fast because the BB is stiff?
Even my old Bridgestone RB-1 never lost a chain in a sprint, and I think I was stronger back then. The BB moved a lot on that bike, but I think it was mostly taking the tubes and stays with it (not twisting).
Does your BB shell have a hinge above it? Man. I guess I remember our conversation about this Fuji (?) frame's reputation for BB flex.
Glad you're OK.
Snuff: yuck. Just yuck. Keep yer chain on.

cslone - I like the FSA rings, but I'm hardly a ring-flexing beast on the bike.
