sweet. ok...here's what i have been eating...and everyone is telling me to eat more.
up at 5:45, 32oz of water on the way to work

7am: bacon/egg/baby swiss cheese on whole wheat
10am: banana

12pm: ham/turkey w/baby swiss on whole wheat, 1srv munchos (my weakness, but not too often)

3pm: banana

also drink 64oz of water during the day at work.

non-riding days during the week -
5:30-6pm: pork tenderloin, chicken or fish baked/broiled or grilled, some starchy food (rice or taters), some kind of green veggie.

riding days during the week -
5-5:30pm: gel. and depending on the ride length, i will have another gel during the ride

7pm: sometimes a sandwich, whole wheat w/pb & honey, sometimes nothing (just dont feel hungry).

usually don't eat after 8pm either.

generally, trying to get in at least a gallon of water, half of which i put a camelbak elixir in for the electrolytes. maybe one diet sundrop a day. sometimes an Old Scratch Amber Ale or two after i ride...

i'm trying to get the calories up a little bit, but it's been hard to do with the weight loss stuff i'm doing...

I don't even need EPO if I eat a scrambled fetus per week.

6:45AM - Wake up

7:00A ~ 7:30A: eat either a turkey-cheese omelette with toast and OJ or cereal with skim milk, toast and OJ

~10A: vanilla chai with banana

~12P ~ 2P: lunch (usually a turkey-cheese-lettuce wrap with Vitaminwater)

~4P: banana, or odwalla bar, or something with chocolate

~6P ~ 8P: Dinner (varies a lot; try not to eat heavy unless I did training that day)

If I miss dinner (which is often), I usually end the day with a bowl of cheerios and water or juice.

If I go on a really long ride (i.e. Nyack, my meal is immediately after it, and it's usually HUGE). I eat more when I go on a hard ride.

Snickers are good; instant smack to the face.

What I'm more interested in is how people eat during the weekends when most of us are racing (or training hard)?

I know that I usually go nuts on the weekends regardless of whether I'm training or racing.
