    How often do you eat during the day?

    Last week I got my braces off (needed teeth straightened after a high speed face plant a while ago). I've got a retainer now. You can't eat with a retainer, you have to take it out first.

    Having this retainer that I have to take out every time I eat has made me acutely aware of how often I'm stuffing food in my face. It seems like every 15 minutes! Realistically, it's every 2-3 hours. I bring snacks to work so I won't be tempted to eat the free junk food. Even then I have to schedule times to eat or I'd eat everything I bring by noon. Speaking of which, it's lunch time. Bye.

    I eat every couple hours. not a lot though, 100-200 calories. Lunch is, obviously, more.

    Every hour from the time I wake until 7pm. Very small meals and healthy snacks. I also consume over a gallon of water.

    I have a huge breakfast (~6AM) and then eat every 2-3 hours, with a big 2-4 oclock meal. I don't eat after 7PM

    Sometimes I am on a 4-meal schedule (7 am, 11:30 am, 3 pm, 7 pm) and other times I restrain myself and only eat 3. In both cases liberal snacking is a must. I should eat less in the later evening and more in the afternoon but I always end up eating my biggest meal late. I am a vegetarian but I make up for it with vast quantities of grains, legumes, dairy, etc... And I still only weigh 138lbs.

    Good sized breakfast at 8:30
    Good sized lunch at 12:30
    Snack (granola bar or some dry cereal) at 2:00 and 4:00
    Decent sized dinner at 6:30

    Like clockwork.

    Usually nothing else after dinner, unless I exercise. Then I try and eat a little something extra. I drink alot of juice and probably 32 oz of water each day.

    I don't know, I'll have to see how I feel tomorrow. I tend to get over things fast but don't want to push it and get sick again. Something has been going around town and most people have been out of it for about a week.

    Six meals a day, three of those being snacks of some fruit or 1/2 cup or so of granola, the other three being decent meals. 2500-3000 calories daily.
