What happens if you fall off the wagon...
... Between base and build? I'm just starting my build period after being cold (no more than 8 hours) for a couple of weeks. Before that I had a good 12 weeks of consistent base miles. Did I blow it? Is this going to suck?

You'll be fine. It depends on what you did with your < 8 hours, but that's still "active." I only ride 9 hours most weeks this season, and last season, it was 5.5 to 6 hours each week.

Let me get this straight.....
You're worried that you "only" got in around 8 hours of riding per week for a 2 week period after 3 months of base, and think you blew your season?

Also, I gained 5 pounds in the last two weeks with all the college buddies I've been entertaining. That's after going from 156 to 142 in three months.
Yep. Weeks 4, 8, and 12 were low intensity weeks, 7 hours.
Thanks all.

I thought this was an AA thread. By the way, recovery takes more than a week in AA.
