Training in your skinsuit

Why not? It's a pretty bad idea to show up at the line on equipment you've never used before. This is why you sometimes train on your race rig (if you have more than one bike), your TT rig, hell even your carbon race wheels.

So then why not train in your skinsuit? From wearing mine, I've noticed that the feel is different and that definitely has a mental effect to it. So why not train in it to acclimate myself to the differences?

If I only weighed 100 pounds, I'd probably do it too. ;)

But, on my rides, I need my jersey pockets.

I train in mine every so often. You don't want any chamois surprises...

You wouldn't happen to be Cat3Phenom, would you?

Do we really need to dedicate a thread to this? Just asking.

It's nice to know what a "winner" would do in his first race, which was a crit with a downhill corner.

I guess it's all tongue in cheek -- well, I hope so...

I train in my skinsuit. But only because there's nothing as sexy as a fat guy in a skinsuit.
