Oh, I'm there. I've been out all evening socializing.
The hell of the midwest, as it were. How could you miss it?

So how many flats did you guys have? I flatted right as I hit the dirt on the second lap. Someone drove me back to the high school. When I got back to my car, I decided I wasn't going to give up, changed the flat real quick, and went back on course and basicly TTed the last 2 laps. Not a winner, but not a quitter I guess.

I missed it. I was in Wash D.C. for the Air Force Classic. But I missed that, too.

Next year, I think a cross bike would be a better choice. That, or those super thick 1lb tubes mixed with gatorskins.

No flats. Came in 7th I believe. Went OTF three times but couldn't make it stick.

Anyone who was there know the outcome of the crash involving the rider from team saturn ohio? On my 3rd lap, toward the end of the first dirt road, I see flashing lights in the distance. As I get up to it, there was an ambulance, fire truck, and police cars, and a paramedic told me to walk my bike on the side of the road. When I passed, they were loading the racer onto a stretcher.
When I got on my bike again, a cat 2 rider cought up to me because apparently he just road right through the scene. Him and I just worked together for the rest of my lap (yea, I know its illegal if in a different class but we were both out of the hunt) Talking to him, he had 3 or 4 flats, and a big rip in the side wall. He fixed the rip with a dollar bill. He didn't flat while I was with him.
