It rained
There was still a good turnout
My teammate was pissing me off by being all "[specific junior rider] this," "[specific junior rider] that"
The course was very soupy
Only one break by a friend who broke to win a prime and held for another lap
I accidentally started a break
I sang Elton John
I pulled a Cancellara and sprinted in the saddle on the hoods to win

And I swear to God I saw ChipCom, I was going to yell his name, but he disappeared.

I'll have a more in-depth report on my blog when I get back from my second job tonight.

What group were you riding with, CK? I was spotting at the finish for the 5s, women and juniors (if you were racing junior...you kicked butt!), then walked the course as the 4s were riding before I had to go pick up the kid.

I'm pretty sure he was doing the cat 4 race. That's what he raced when I was there.

He did a great job winning then, the field was blown into 3 groups plus stragglers by lap 3 or 4. When I left the breakaway group had a good 15 seconds on the first chase group and seemed to be extending it.

-No race report tonight, but no, I didn't race the Juniors, I did the Cat 4's.
-I was the lead rider in the front group for a lot of laps because I didn't wear glasses and being behind someone got too much water in my face, enough so that I rode with my head turned to the side and my eyes looking forward.
-The kid who won the Juniors didn't kick ass; he's a ******bag. It's no wonder he slaughtered the Junior race; he's 15 or 16 racing against 12 year-olds.
-Not to mention another one of my ex-teammates (who's 15) came in second behind me, so I'm happy for him. Overall, I think 3 Juniors were in the top 5 in the Cat 4 race.

Great job.

Note to self: take the gun, shoot any rider under 21.
I'll be the guy in the 'postal' uniform.
