Synergy TT Race Reports - May 10, 2008
Good lord. The weather was really nice, perfect for riding in and it didn't rain until the very end when most riders were finished or finishing. The wind was only bad for the long stretch and everything else was nice.
Race report!
First time trial! I got to use aerobars for the first time and that was fun. I stretched a hat over my helmet to keep warm and maybe thought it would help with aero too. It did, stayed perfect temperature. The time trial just about killed my butt though. About 2k in I felt something was really wrong and right around my right sit bone is a small sliver of PAIN. It didn't affect my energy but was not the nicest. If you have had similar problems, let me know what you did to fix it! I finished but had too much energy left over. It was good to learn though, I did the 40k instead of the juniors to see what that would be like, probably missed out on schwag and some points, but oh well. On the way back I picked up two new saddles and hopefully one of them is the answer to a long history of pain on the saddle!
How'd you do?

Congrats on your first TT!
It was a perfect day for a TT. The wind was a bit stronger than I thought it was going to be.
Last year I rode this with my road bike, with no aero bars or wheels. I just got a TT bike and I did it 4:29 faster than last year. I don't feel like I am in better shape than last year so I am contributing most of the improvement to the TT bike.
Needless to say I am really pumped with my results! It really moved me up in the standings. Now if I can only get a couple more minutes off I would be up there with the truly fast guys.

Where'd you get results? Some pictures are on skinnyski.com, but they didn't have everyone.

I waited for the results. I also took pics of the them.
If you want to PM me with your name and I can tell you what your official results were.
