Yes, another licensing question

If I buy a 1 day license for a race, will that race count towards my 10 races to move up from CatV? Say I do 3 races and get a 1 day license for each but then buy a regular $60 license. Will all of the USAC sanctioned races I start be counted. Thanks.

Sidenote: If the CatV race is the first race (crit) of the night will I be OK warming up on the track and not bringing a trainer?

1. Yes (above is wrong, all you need is 10 race starts. Not 10 races on one license...)
2. Probably yes. If you're talking about Dixie you can just ride the roads around the fairgrounds too.

Snuff is correct. Keep in mind that only mass-start races count.

Doesn't sound cost effective to me.

If you are talkin' Dixie, I suggest you warm up on the course (it's open about an hour before the c race) or at least get in 5 or 6 laps beforehand. You will want to see what it "has to offer" before you start the race.

Good luck.

I think you might be able to keep your receipt for the 1-day license and get credit towards the full license if you decide to get one. I might have just made that up, though. Ask the USCF official about that when you get it.
