Where is timmyquest?

In one of his gazillion "Should I race?," "I'm gonna race," "I'm really gonna race, I promise!" threads, timmy promised that his first race would be on May 31st.

Maybe I missed his race report, as I was off racing on that day and driving home the next day. Did it happen? Or was it just more hot air?

I'm just curious.

Why don't you come to one of my races? Like this one:

It's worth the trip.

Well, if I thought you would ever actually show up to a race (as opposed to just posting/talking about it), I would whip your ass there and then. But I doubt that you'll ever actually put your wheel on the line.

You're really into the TQ. Want to join the TQ fan club or something? Maybe another hobby would fill the gap.

You forgot the part where everyone was posting to BF trying to figure out what happened.

That was an impressive amount of hand-wringing over one race where the kid got shelled. That rivals my TT bike fit threads for Sturm Und Drang Signifying Nothing.

So, should I race?

I know how to Sturm und Drang. That's like drafting the pelotons and then attacking in the sprints, right?

If so, Sturm und Drang is the only way I know.

And yes, you should

My racing talent pretty much tantamount to my amazing photography talents, as evidenced in that photo in recursive's current avatar.

He shelled everyone in the group with those socks and some shades from the checkout lane of the Piggly Wiggly.

To be 22 again when I was 22 ...

Today you have to worry about HIV and herpes.

That should tell you how old I am. Everything back then was curable with an antibiotic or an appropriate "shampoo" for the hairy bits.

And if you are wondering, I don't wish to be 22 again. Once was enough.

If you shaved the hairy hairness off, you wouldn't need the shampoo.
