Pinotti Wins Italian National TT...at 5.2w/kg

That's right kids, 5.2w/kg for 39 minutes.

What's the read on this? Doping restrictions taking hold? e-wang power chart totally off base? Guys saving their "A" game for something else?

...note the lack of negative splits as well.

That's it. I'm going straight from the 4's to the ProTour. Does anyone have Bruyneel's phone number?

Hmmm.

Couple o' problems.

First, he's in his TT position. Good amount of power loss there.

Second, who knows if he's telling the truth about that denominator.

Me? I'm always perpetually fat and out of shape. At least when the competition wants to know.

Not if you can win a national championship TT at 5.2w/kg for 39 minutes it's not!

Didn't we have this same discussion when Pinotti won a TT earlier in the season? He must have a really good position, or his W/cm of height are really good or something.

Or perhaps I should just start talking to Bjarne instead. I'll pretend I can't pronounce Bjarne and just start calling him Baldy.

Did you guys look at the power chart? It was a tight course and sizzling at 95 degrees. He still averaged over 50 km/h.
Also, this isn't climbing, so w/kg isn't king...
