Lower = better.

You know, to a point.

But, just to play along:

1917 miles through June 30th (not counting winter trainer-time).
604 miles for June.

You aren't supposed to count the miles covered in your Ford Excursion.

More than most, but too few for comfort. Lowest monthly kilometers was something like 1700. Last month was my lowest hours at 52 with a 3 days off for sickness and almost a week of recovery crap hours.

5578 miles

I'll be doing 180 on Thursday and the following Sunday, peppered with shorter long rides in between when I bike to Ocean City, MD for the 4th of July celebrations.

Who rides by miles? Or kilometers?

Time is what matters (and what you did with it).

Took first 3 months off, then rode some, then went to China for 2 weeks, then rode some more, then had an injury, then started riding again.

Crap year but it's only half over. I'll probably finish +10,000km for the year. That's pretty low for me. I'm already focused on 2009.

No argument, but that's not to say the statistic isn't tracked. It's certainly a natural byproduct of time.
