TT Bike Test Flight
Rode the TT bike for the first time since April with that new TT position I dialed in after my abortion of a TT @ Sandy Hook (the one with the abysmal position). New position is not only more aero and faster (I averaged 23.5 mph over a 17 mile training route, about 1 mph faster than my previous best) but considerably more comfortable. Haven't changed it since these photos:
http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...08TTposBF1.jpg I now wear official cycling socks, that's probably it. I had to shift off my sore elbows now and again, but generally I had a significantly easier time holding the aero position than in the past. |
Enough of this Kum Bay Ya MTB crap, time for a road race. Saturday, Prospect Park for all you NY City Pcad Stalkers.

23.5mph? DrWJ would be proud :D

Besides, I'm skinnier now. |
I hope that 17mph had some hills.

Fly, Pcad, fly. You are an inspiration to those who aspire to mediocrity everywhere.

You're old. You need more flexibility, like, say, me.

That saddle position... wow. Good thing you had your bibs on.

Remember, in a TT it's all about focus.
