3 crits - 2 placements. That was enough.

See you on the other side.

Congrats! How'd you do that? You're in TX, right? Did Bonnie grant you a discretionary upgrade?

Bunch of guys from here will be there. I was invited to go with. I'm beginning to think my status has become comic relief.

They let you through on that..? You must be really awesome. I had to get through on points and top tens, and all the fields here are packed.

sounds like you've made some realgains your racing. this is a good time of the year to upgrade (unless you're in the mix for a bar championship). you can do a few races up a level from where you've been and get a good take on what your offseason training mix should entail.

Nice work. Watch out for those 3's, dude. Everyone says it's safer, but I just had my worst crash ever on a bike in a 3's race when some DB took me out at 38mph.

this wasn't you, was it?!?!!

Superweek was pretty rough on the 3s this year.

^^^edit: disclaimer: the link is for an ugly crash. All the riders were relatively ok, the rider in yellow raced the following day.

Nope, not me. I'm in Southern California. That was bad, but trust me - mine was worse

^^^Good point.

Congrats on the upgrade.

If you haven't already done it, now is the time to find a well organized team and to find a way to contribute to the overall success of that team.

You still get a few phenoms in the 3's who can just ride away from the bunch, but stuff like that should happen less and less.

Good luck and I look forward to your first race report from Cat 3.

You will all know what kind of Cat3 I am by Thursday morning. This could be a long, hard road. But a road worthy of traveling. Thanks again.
