Contador is such a freak.

Hammered that last run up to the finish. Sick. Makes it look like he's sprinting on a flat.

Levi with another great stage.

I was following it on Velonews, Contador is a freak, especially considering what he did yesterday. And what about Levi?
Maybe not surprising since they (Astana) are the most rested team of the Vuelta.

This Leipheimer/Contador 1-2 punch is pretty sick. It was so cool watching Leipheimer take off over Mosquera

I watched yesterday's stage on a live stream. That was probably the sickest mountain stage I"ve ever seen. Contador was the only rider who made it look easy. Valverde at times looked as if he was going to topple over. Barerly could turn the pedals over.

Contador was simply amazing yesterday! Today too, especially after the way he sailed up the mountain.

Personally, I think Leipheimer is on the form of his life. I've never seen him climb like this. Geez, is he getting better with age? He would be an awesome domestique for Lance next year in July. Imagine Alberto and Levi by Lance's side at the Tour. This would be as good a team as Lance ever had with Postal/Discovery....maybe the best ever.

What is Hincapie doing next year? Don't seem right not having George by Lance's side. Is he under contract next year with Columbia??? Maybe Lance will personally buy out his contract and bring him back??

I don't think Contador is going to be anyone's domestique – if Armstrong joins Astana he will have to settle for a support role. But that could change.

I know Contador was able to gain another minute or two on the field but it would of been nice of him to let Levi have the stage win since he has been so much work for the guy.

He needs to change to to an M60 with a rope of bullets draped over his arm.

Watching Astana now makes me wonder how much better the TDF would have been with them.

Sastre minus the O'Grady/Cancellara/Schlecks power is making this one tough race for Sastre. I give more credit to Sastre - I dissed him in the TDF for sucking wheels for two weeks and then getting the big win on Alpe D'Huez - he's working his butt off to stay with Levi and AC in the Vuelta. Great rider.

The TDF with AC & LA/Astana vs. the CSC machine will make for some interesting stages in '09.

These 2 guys are solid and competitive. The DS that gets Lance will have a tough choice and if it's Bruyneal the only guess I have is that Lance will have to earn his spot.
