WR, so lets say you won a prime and they gave out razors.
Would you shave your legs?
Discuss.

Making a kilometer blurry
Now that I'm shedding some baby fat, it's sounding better and better. Still, the extra time in the shower is not attractive.

I guess I should make a mention that I caved in and shaved today. I was waiting till the races started up again in the spring, but the weather was so nice today that I caved in.
Man, it feels cooler. I should have kept the fur till the spring :/
Also, it takes about 2 mins extra time in the shower after a couple of weeks of doing it.
Do it, it's tradition.

Yeah, I shaved for 7 years straight (minus two furry winters). When you descend far enough, you end up where I am

Not that it helps, but I'll stand with you in furry defiance....at least until spring.
I shaved as a junior. To the extent of even being called out at age 13 or 14 in the middle of class - BTW waterrockets...that's a little worse than being called out on BF. When I started back racing I was kicking the topic around with my wife.... she took it worse than I could have ever imagined.
I have respected her wishes...up to this point....but racing a lot next year....team is all Cat 1,2,3 guys....it makes me look like a f'n newb......I predict some early spring shaving.
....although until then I like to imagine that furry legs are like wearing argyle socks with your kit...whatever that means....

If you can ride like Waterrockets, then you can do what you want.
One of my riding buds either has enough points to upgrade to Cat 2 or is damn close and he doesn't shave. Of course he doesn't have Chewbacca legs like I do, so it really doesn't make much of a difference.

Do random people really comment on shaved legs? I've never gotten one comment about it. The comments are usually about my obscene tan lines

Also, a lot of kids I know don't really have noticeable leg hair. An asian and white kid on the team don't. I'm Indian, and my hair is pretty 'there'. I gave up trying to keep my face shaved long ago. I do it only 2-3x a week now. If I did it any less, I'd have a full beard.

I was kind of thinking it would be a good celebration for a Cat 2 upgrade
Then again, if you're gonna shave them for me...
I've tried duct tape before though (at the end of one of the furry winters, in the name of science). It doesn't work.

As a side note, someone asked why I shaved my legs today. I replied, "Tradition."
They said that they couldn't argue with that/respected that.
Heh.
