Seen this program yet?

Has this program been around a while? And am I just getting around to seeing it?

This sample is from the Iceman Cometh mountain bike race, but it would be cool to see applied to TTs or RRs. And if they could color code the dots...

I whipped it up on Monday and Tuesday after getting back from the race, so its still very new and a few kinks remain. Ideally, I'd like to build it into a more flexible system so event organizers could roll there own instances for local races.

How would you like to see racer info color coded? Next feature I plan I dropping in, is the ability to hilight a specific rider during the race.

Very cool. The specific racer idea is fantastic too.

For the record, the last dot who trails the herd by several minutes actually had a flat tire with 6 miles to go, and WALKED to the finish. As it appears on this moving graph, it looks like he was just slow, but he said he was in contention until he flatted.

If you had several time split check-points, you'd be able to show relative movements. Talk to Gault Race Management about what you have there. I can see marathon runners paying money to see their dot ambling along. Heck, they pay good money to go for a run.

The system already handles split times, but I could only get my hands on the final times for Iceman racers. I put a call into the organizers, so hopefully the more correctly representative info will appear shortly.

The people running the RAAM have something like that with different shapes for different categories and different colors for individuals. Movement is steady only between time stations. Overall you can see people passing each other.
