Yes.
Why?
Post Script:
I am a lowly Cat4 (get back with me on that after the Greenville Series to see if that has changed), I'm not sure I really should be on a team until I am a 3.

I'm looking to invite some local guys and girls to race for Team TOMS, correct ljrichar. I've just been asked by my sponsors to field a team of at least six riders in the NC and SC areas. Categories and types of racing aren't important. There are TT riders, Cross riders, MTN and Road rider on the team thus far.
I'm not trying to be a jerk about it, but it's not a crazy shoes team. We're racing for a great company and I'd love other people who love to have fun that might like to be a part of something a little bigger than their local memorial day crit race. Do something special while you race. And benefit from our sponsorship deals, etc.
If you're interested, feel free to email me, Adam, at teamTOMS@yahoo.com.
If you're not, no problems. We'll see you out here!

Just to clarify, I have nothing against Cat4 and 5 racers being on teams. I was on a team last year as a 5 and 4. That team reorganized and I wasn't part of the new structure so I didn't plan on looking for anything until I get to the 3's. If something comes along I'm open to talking.
If I start blowing up in Cat4 races after the base and training I've thrown down this winter I'm selling my bike and going back to running. I can get my 10k back under 40 minutes in 6 weeks, and I like the feeling of accomplishment.
It's so you can start saying things like, "Oh I was riding for so-and-so. I wasn't even planning on doing this race, but felt I should ride and help out" as an excuse when you blow-up.

I'm in Greensboro but I ride for Paceline which has stores in Greensboro & W-S. I'm sure they would know that area better than I.
