Anyone going? I reserved some extra rooms right at the lake for Saturday night that are perfect. Let me know if anyone wants one. I thought more people from my team would be going, and I still have 3 left.

it's not going to rain down in UCLA is it? Also, wtf is with the 7am start time on saturday -- I probably won't get to socal until 12. j/k, I'll just have to get a coffee feed after the first lap

I'm registered through San Dimas as a 4, planning up upgrading after that. Also my 30th birthday, so it should be a nice present :)

This place is perfect for the race... doesn't get any better unless you like to camp.

I'm really looking forward to it. Last year with English it wasn't even really a race. And I stupidly toasted myself right before the climb started. This year should go much better, and I have a teammate who will work for me; last year I was trying to support Chester.

I might make it up there, as long as the Grapevine is open, how much is it for the room?

It was either $60 or $65. I have either 1 or 2 left... waiting for a confirmation.

I'm not going. I am sick, again, and even when I wasn't I just have not been feeling all that fast.

4th at cantua creek. I did a lot of work for my teammate who got third :thumb:

I saw some of your teammates there. I was taken out in the crash in 35+ 4/5.

that sucks... I saw someone laying out during the race with ambulances and fire engines etc... Were you injured.

Hard to imagine a crash at Cantua.

yeah I couldn't figure it out. Best I could tell it was on the bad pavement coming down the overpass...

I got crashed out of the 5's race last year when i was second wheel, first wheel just decided to hit the desk on a straight, flat, dry and fairly slow section. Bike was messed up enough that I had to get in the sag wagon. On the way back to the finish we came across a bad crash in the womens race, i think they called an ambulance for that one.

He "owes" you tomorrow, right? :thumb:
