Very nice. My upgrade is still pending. I have no idea why the hell it takes them so long to do upgrades in SoCal. It took about 2 weeks for my Cat 3 upgrade last spring.

Cat1 next???
Rarified air up here, but well worth all the ego points.
BTW - Wouldn't ProTour be the ultimate category.

Thanks all. It's a bit uncomfortable. I guess I felt that way when I upgraded to Cat 3.
...back in 1992.
No way man. Cat 3 is the Ultimate Cat. This is a downgrade.

Good work! The balance you have to strike between being a father/working/training and racing makes this all the more impressive to me. Keep on crushing!
I think he is referring to a humorous blog by that name about how cat3s were god's gift to everyone...
I don't even know if the blog is still around, but it was always good for a laugh

Wouldn't want to be a cat3 if you paid me.
Crashes are hard and skills are suspect.

You are going to need 90 minute lunch hours now. Can't be a cat 2 with an hour to train in the afternoon.
Congrats...well deserved. I admire the discipline!

You ever watch old Green Hornet episodes on Nick at Night? WR's the Hornet. Ex be Kato.
You want the Green Hornet, you gotta go through Kato. Kato knows how to chop.
We're old school Marvel comics. We got the Fantastic Four waitin in the wings baby.

First of all a big congrats. It was clear that you are at the top of the Cat 3 game and ready to move up if you wanted to do so.
I am thinking that you will want a few more hours per week for training at the P/1/2 level. You do know that the races are now longer?

Congrats WR. The duration and speed has been a huge step up. When you try to bridge a gap doing 34+ and not make any ground you just have to tip your hat to genetically gifted super freaks. Oh and 100+ miles road races now, good times.
