Montepaschi Strade Bianche-Eroica Toscana
epic race. this is a new "itallian classic" that will hopefully one day rival the northern classics. (not likely, but this is an awesome race.) tens of kilometers and climbs on white gravel in the italian countryside has to be fun to watch. anyway, if you weren't able to watch it live, you can catch around 40 minutes of it from these two videos. it is the rai broadcast, so it is in italian.

Very cool race! I'd like to know the bike setup like tire size brakes etc. I have done a race with a gravel section but not with climbing and the descending must be a little crazy.

Great race and a great win by a rider to watch for in the future. Lovkist just destroyed all on that final ascent!

Thanks for posting the videos
I watched this race last year on RAI and was enthralled with it's course.
Especially that epic finish through the village.

One of my best friends was there, watching. He lives close by. Wish I took him up on his invite to come visit, but alas - maybe you didn't hear - there's a credit crisis at the moment.

Ya know. You raise your daughter right and one day you hope they grow up to be a big strong bike racer. Good going Tammy.
