Weather related race cancellation
Aargh. The road race in the Puget Sound area for March 15 got cancelled due to snow/slush on the roadway.
The weather here the last couple of weeks has been pretty odd, with cold but sunny days during the week and rain/wind/sleet/snow/hail during the weekend.
Just a random vent. I am wanting to get back into the pack after lots of years away, but everything seems to be delaying the day. The anticipation is killing me...

I do not know if you have ridden this race or the Ravensdale/Cumberland in the summer (uses the same roads), but I live very close to the course and you did not want to be on those roads. I ride that course all the time including a few times when it was wet. The turn from Lake Retreat to Kent/Kangley is nasty enough without the addition of snow and ice.
