Nice. Keep at it. Maybe we'll see you in the 3's this summer! I have no plans of moving on.

I can't think of any worse place than jail to be wearing my cycling kit....lol Maybe that helped him "work through" some things while he was waiting for his phone call..

I've heard a story about a guy who literally took a flying leap off his bike to beat up one of his teammates in a p/1/2 crit a few years ago here in Florida.
Sometimes people get a little hot under the collar. Just try not to be "that guy".

Sounds like a lot of classy individuals all the way around. Kicking someone in the face when they are being held on the ground could result in its own set of criminal charges.

i heard rumors about an old teammate of mine, who apparently jumped a guy after a CP race.
what was even more fraked up about it, is that he had no direct beef with the guy he jumped. apparently his teammate had words with him. total high school BS.
i believe he's now in TX.

Making a kilometer blurry
That's ridiculous. I've seen a couple scuffles, but those were on the bike, not after the race.
Reminds me of when this bruiser bloodied Phinney's nose in a sprint:
(anyone else miss their sub-6?)

What I was going to say before this post is that most of the times if you get out of line your teammates should be all over you. If one of my guys got started yelling and it looked like it would escalate, I'd beat the **** out of him before he got close to anyone on another team. I don't have much to say about the abovementioned team....I'm not a fan.

I would also like to know this. I have my guess.
Man, that's harsh! I bet they don't wave at other riders while training, either.

we had 2 cat 4s throwing fists after our teams race a couple of years ago. something about one cutting the other off in a sprint. one jumped the other like 10 minutes after the race was over. what an ass. his team, squadra coppi, demonstrated themselves to have several jerkoffs in kit that day.

It was kinda slow, I think my computer said about 20mph, my team really tried to kick up the pace we launched a lot of attacks off the front. Out of the turn going up hill into the wind everyone would attack then would realize "wait... **** I don't want to pull the pack into the wind I'm slowing" so as soon as that'd happen we'd shoot off the front. That being said I heard that a lot of people were falling off the back of the B group so if it was slow it definitely wasn't easy.

I guess we're on our way to having biker gangs here in SoCal... Too funny, I remember helping break up the fight in Long Beach.. And here I thought the gangsters in South Central LA were tough... Who would've thought about men in tights being tough guys.

Leather vests with your affiliation and chapter embroidered on them. Oh, and and chaps
I don't remember what our avg was for the race, but with the tailwind, we were strung out and 32+ on almost every lap, and into the wind, it would fluctuate wildly. 21-25, depending who was on the front.
