    Quarq in wet/rain?

Anyone know if there is any risk in using the Quarq in the wet? With storms likely all weekend I'm going to get soaked at some point. Seems to me that it's pretty well sealed and it would likely just need some cleaning and drying post-ride.

    Thanks.

There was an issue with some of the early Saturn production run that has since been corrected. I suppose if you have one of them and you haven't ridden in the rain yet it could still be a problem.

Anyway, it didn't cause any permanent damage, it just affected the readings while it was wet.

I rode 7 hours in the rain (over two days) and didn't see any issues.

I would beg to differ with that statement with regards to the original Cinqo, though as was stated this problem has been cured in v.2 of the Saturn.

Which do you disagree with, that it only affected the early production run on saturns or that it wasn't permanant?

Today was a little wet for about an hour. I'm on the newer saturn. I didn't notice any problems.

For clarification: the majority of CinQos that had water issues were from the first batch of Saturns released in Dec/Jan. That being said, some of the gen 1 CinQos also had problems.

We've taken care of anyone (first gen or Saturn owner) who has notified us with a problem and given them a new Saturn model with the improved sealing process.

We've had very good results with the improved Saturn models, so if anyone experiences issues with their CinQo in the rain, please contact us directly so we can get you a new one.

    Thanks,

I have had my Saturn for a few months and have probably 500 miles in the rain(it's been a terribly wet Spring) and had zero issues. Downpours, after the rain, etc, not one problem.
FS: Fuji SL1 frameset, 55.5cm toptube, excellent condition.
