Ouch guess the price: Giant Trinity Advanced SL Di2

http://www.giant-bicycles.com/en-US/news/13717/
with Di2 and Zipp 606 wheelset

If it is priced anything like cervelo that is a $12k TT bike.

I'm going to guess (as kitted out in the pic) at around $15-15.5k. BTW I thought Columbia/Highroad/HTC said they owned the rights to that design.

whats more important about this design is that trickledown means that the low end models should rather reasonable but get you a stupid fast frame. Cervelo may have a challenge on its hands.

Probably an 808 and 606. Same way the 403 wheelset is 303/404.

Although that picture sure looks like an 808 and 1080.

edit: Does Zipp even make a 606?

typo should have been 606(404/808) but that does look like an 808/1080 combo.

meh the Dean is arguably a P3/P4 equivalent, the new Giant, Scott, Specialized and Trek are quite probably a step up in aerodynamics, but unlike Cervelo or even Ridley, all of those brands are willing to use the same molds and less carbon fiber. So where these new bikes will kill is the tri/TT market sweet spot of $2-4K (if one of those brands is smart enough to spec a bike there).

What is up with all the head tube quasi-structural fairings? How long till UCI figures out a way to draft the to make them all illegal?

Keep on the dimpled paint is faster koolaid (but I suppose you're sponsored by them so at least you're doing right for them...)- the dean has too many curved lines to be faster than this new generation of tt bikes, cfd designed or not
