Was having a great ride until I got hung up by a train for five minutes about two hours in to it. Never got my mojo back after that. Still, a decent w/o and with a 75* temp I am not complaining at all.

3:10, team ride much of it "shenanigans". Ben P was dealing out a lot of pain and Dido also pushed it very hard at times. Good times.

Showed up to race and found that the race was cancelled, evidently this morning, unexpectedly. So, I focused mostly on low cadence pounding for a little over 2 hours.

Raced twice yesterday and once today. CTL is highest ever.

And happiness is seeing the black line go over the colored line:

shouldn't that red line update itself? or is this an error in the algorithm?

and goddamn, it looks like 380-390W for 30+ minutes, were you in the break?

PS. Some solid numbers.

I don't know if it's an error. It's always done that on the file that moves it up; the next one will be updated. Yes, 382w for 36min. I wasn't in the break, I was trying to pull it back and not getting a lot of help.

Well, it's been a pretty dry winter in NorCal (this week excluded) so most guys' fitness is through the roof. I'm sort of thinking the opposite: flying back east and picking on guys who've had to ride the trainer all winter.

Very nice caloso. Up north it's finally getting nice enough that outdoor riding doesn't feel like a chore. Got in a 2.5 hour ride on friday in 7C and sun which felt awesome. Today it was cold and wet so I did a 9 mile fartlek run.

19 hour build weeks are fun, if ever so slightly on the wrong side of the idiot line.

I left the bike in Gainesville so went running on W, Th, and F, 5k each day at a 7:15 pace. Saturday I drank wine and went to the beach. Sunday I rode when I got home.

Nice. My running pace has slowed and I'm not sure why. Oh well.

2:10. Started Z2, 3x8'x'2 @ low-mid Z4 in the middle, a couple new-to-me climbs, then tempo inbound.

Weak sauce today. Efforts were supposed to be @LTHR but RPE was way high relative to HR. Legs were off and I never got things up to where I wanted. Ate a lot of crap this weekend and haven't had very good sleep for a few days and I think that had something to do with it.

2x(5x1x1)x5 is how I think it is written (2 sets of 5 1-minute intervals with one minute rest between intervals and 5 minute rest between sets).
Power was 303 +/- and cadence was 98 +/-. I am getting better at transferring power with a relatively higher cadence.
I can't begin to tell you how much fun it felt, particularly during intervals 9 and 10.
