Cavendish quote

“I get a little hotheaded sometimes, but it's irrelevant the nationality
of the rider when you get arsey at someone,” Cavendish said. “When you're a rider with a public profile, you can't be friends with
everybody, it's going to be like that. For sure
I'm going to get arsey at some lad, because I'm an *******. But their nationality, and what they look like or where they come from, is
irrelevant.”

BTW, he was responding to this quote from anonymous French rider:

“Cavendish is racist, he's anti-French,” the anonymous rider reportedly said.
“He should be careful. We're not going to put up with his attitude much
longer.”

"No one sees the self-loathing when I lose."

As if we needed more proof that the guy reads BF. Poor bastidge.

"Asked what advice, if any, he could offer to riders like Tyler Farrar, Thor Hushovd and Tom Boonen, Cavendish was curt: 'Cross the line before me'."

God, what a prick. Gotta love the guy!

Confidence in a sprinter is a must.

I'm no cav, nor will I ever be, but the only times I've placed in races was when I was feeling and oozing self confidence.

Love him or hate him, he is the man when it comes to a sprint finish. He is always appreciative of his teammates and gives them plenty of credit. He's young, he's cocky and he has the legs to back up his mouth. He's very matter of fact. You expect him to tell the others how to beat hiim??? It's no surprise what's going to happen in the last few K of a sprint finish. No team right now can stop Columbia. You wanna beat Cav and the Columbia train, pedal you bike faster then them.

Since when is being French a race?

The French aren't happy unless they are b*tching, eating cheese, stinking of B.O., or surrendering.

I like the one about "people on forums talking about how it wasn't a sprinter's stage, it's just a hill, it's not like it was a finish up Ventoux."

Something to that effect, I can't find the exact quote.
