Lance says he's riding Milan San Remo in March

Well, that should make it even more interesting. MSR is nuts. I like that race. Particularly that screaming ass descent into San Remo at the end. What a friggin squidfest that stupid ride is blasting down that hill. A couple of years ago I saw what might be the best bike crash I've ever seen coming down that hill. Fortunately there were no fatalities.

It is events like that which convince me the UCI wants to see if they can kill a pro cyclist or two, and that you have to be utterly insane to be a UCI Pro, regardless of the salary.

Wait, I just realized maybe that post was about 2009.

So forget the whole thing.

But my comments about MSR still stand.

Probably Moletta who wrapped his lower body around a light pole in a very disturbing contortion.

That leg. Yikes. I had to have the wife tell me when they were showing racing because I couldn't deal with looking at that leg.

I think you can safely apply the term to racing bicycles going 40+ mph on a wet road.

He was racing again by July, finished the Vuelta the same year, and did well in M-SR the next spring.
