The 33 Yearbook for 2009. "Let's Celebrate Mediocracy!"

Do what you will as if it were a yearbook. Add a photo and blurb of yourself or somebody else. Write a little something about someone as if you were signing their book:

WR, I hope you can get that thing lanced off your backside and you're up and kicking ass next season. Sorry I shot that spitwad in your hair in Mrs. Clements class. I was trying to hit Botto but my lazy-eye messes up my perspective.
Rock out with your **** out in 2010.

Or:

Substructure
30 Races
Cat3, Masters35+
No wins, several top 10s
Most likely to be arrested in 2010

Yeah, this is a little ghey. But I haven't started a useless thread in a while. Enjoy!

Dear MDcatV -

You know you are teh suck when your team captain asks for a listing of your 2009 top 10s, and you can reply off the top of your head from a blackberry. Better luck next year.

Cheers,
your alter ego

p.s. you're most likely to quit bikeforums because of the new software, which wont let you post new threads.

Celebrating mediocrity belongs in the 41 ("I rode my bike 100 miles so I am special!" forum) or the 191 (Tri forum - "Ribbons for everyone!"). It has no place in the 33. Here mediocrity should lead to self-loathing. And that is not bad.

It's so funny that it looks like a JPB training camp, but that was a crit, and we had many more riders other places in the pack. We ended up with two guys in the break (getting 1st and 2nd), and winning the bunch sprint for 5th. Great, great day.

Great shot though.

Dear big john, Yes you rode 100 miles but you suck at it, so you are not special. How long do you think you can keep doing this? Even the newbies on the 50+ forum post faster times than you.

Yep a good day for the squad...I attacked after we made the corner...held it for about a lap..blew up and pulled off. The next week was the State Crit championship and the begining of my latest UC flare up...I am Tommy D.

Had our Holiday Party/'09 Wrap up at a nice French Restaurant that is also a sponsor. Two team-mates and I were honored with the Hammerus Deudus award...and a bottle of hooch. Award has a Greek dude with a chain ring on his head :-) Love this corny stuff.

"It is hereby decreed that on this day, 7th of December '09 the bearer of this certificate has been deemed by his fellow club-mates to have been hammering for some if not all of the 2009 bicycle racing season. As such the bearer becomes the sole recipient within the classification of the stated peer group, of the coveted and honored Hammerus Deudus award as presented by the Berkeley Bicycle Club. However this does not and was never intended to imply that the bearer was the fastest or the strongest, but only that much hammering was done or at least good stories were told of such hammering, and perhaps the esteemed bearer used titanium. This award, as with all awards in life, is totally and completely useless. No crybabies"

Hey roy5000x2,

Way to slack off over the winter months. You were doing 25 hour weeks, and now look at you. 3 hour weeks? And you're going to be in the Caribbean for the first two races of the season? Come on man.
Ps: Work on your core, fatty.
Pps: And going across country again this summer? How about you actually race a full season for once.

Regards,
The Team.
