I haven't posted in this thread before. But, to make every puke etc, I just wanted to tell you I'm brewing up a nice pot of Chock Full o'Nuts. From a can.

I used to make 4 double-espressos to take before a race. I even distilled it down to 50% volume so I can take it all in a single shot...

not sure if there are 'world market' stores elsewhere, but their coffee is really good imo. $8 for 2lbs. On my 2nd cup.

Life is too short to drink foultasting coffee. In the morning Indian Malabar espresso or my inlaw sent Hawaiian beans , Gaggia grinder and Gaggia Classic machine. At work I bought a used small pro machine with a Mazza grinder, OK italian espresso beans. One cup in the morning and one after lunch at work.

There are world markets around me. They have some interesting beers sometimes. Are they similar to Trader Joe's (we don't have them)?

How does Austin not have a TJ's? Seems like a perfect market.

I know! If you were to show up at the Whole Foods downtown on a weekend and look at the clientele you'd say they were the perfect demographic for TJ's. College age hipsters on fixies abound...oh and really hot girls.

I actually envy you. If I could stop consuming caffeine I would feel so much better. Better sleeping pattern, a steadier supply of energy.

I am drinking coffee. Right now in fact. The nice nasty gut brew from work made out of 200 scoops of bulk folgers acquired at Costco or some such place. Ulcers ROCK!

Alas, tomorrow I am going to finish off the last of my Kona that I got on Christmas eve. I'm usually a two a cup drip or one americano a day guy, I used to work as a barista so I've cut back a lot from those days.

I have a Polish friend (about twice my age, like a second father). Him and his wife make the BEST coffee ive ever had in my entire life.
As a Canadian, i now know the Europeans are the ***** when it comes to a good brew.
