I watched one stage on VS. Other than that I've been watching online somewhere else. Seems so much more tolerable and I'm no Lance hater really. It's just so pathetic. Even if I was in the tour, had 10 TDF wins under my belt, cured all diseased with my own blood, was married to my high school sweetheart, adopted 90 blind kids from some lost continent, was the first man on Mars, served my country in all branches of the military, was US President for 2 terms, found Bin Laden and made him apologize (with tears running down his face), got 100% EXPERT on Slayer's, "Reign in Blood" while playing Guitar Hero, convinced Lebron to stay in Cleavland, and made the Eagles, Kiss, Aerosmith, and the Rolling Stones to give it up, I still wouldn't want that much press.

A 64 year old guy at work took up mtb last year so now he is a fanboy. Lance is the only bike racer he has ever heard of and several times a day he asks me how Lance is doing or where did Lance finish today or is Lance going to win or LanceLanceLance....barf.

Versus certainly leaves something to be desired. My recollection is that it was much better on OLN. Same commentators, way fewer human interest stories, way fewer commercials. Been watching the streams at work, but over the weekend I caught the coverage on VS and it seemed about 1/3rd commercials, 1/3rd human interest stories, 1/3rd actual bike racing.

OLN was also crap. granted, compared to what it used to be like, it's better than nothing, but it's still crap.

I'm not a lance fanboy, I like him, but for crying out loud the VS coverage is so bad. I wish universal would show it on TV, that would be tolerable.
