you-em-dee did not "suffer fools gladly" in the 41.

And there was the distinct possibility that he was using another account to post.

Neither do I, but have no reason to "learn" anyone a damn thing around those parts.
Gets bad enough inside the 33 sometimes.
Odd someone would spend so much time berating others for their naivety.
Save it for the group ride.

True, but you post with 'souplesse'. The ewe.em.dee posting equivalent was "pedalling squares". The former you admire due to its elegance. The later irritates because it is so jarring to observe, even if you agree with the content of the post.

Also somebody like B Dop running "point" for us in the 41 keeps the bleed though to the 33 to a minimum.

And he does it with an enormous amount of class.

Truth be told if the poster that needs good advice rides for a competing team, then save it for race day.

he was obviously the short nerdy kid who got bullied in grade-school, and now he's and angry little know-it-all who doesnt like when people challenge his opinion.

at least thats how he came across in the 41...he just would not let chit go. People noticed the trend and started poking him with sticks.

Maybe.

And a poorly made 36-spoke 3x front wheel could also be problematical.

If those 16 spokes are laced to a very deep section rim the wheel may be sturdy enough for training. Otherwise, no.

Forest Park area? I lived in the CWE about 2 years ago, then moved to Maplewood for a few months. Maplewood was a nice (and cheap) place to live.

go with 20/24. And by very deep section, i think ericm was referring to the kinlin xr380's. If you want to save $ and get a light wheelset, you can always get the cheap hubs from bikehubstore.

The Tues night worlds training crit back in St. Louis actually has a pretty decent pitch each lap. I'd error with lighter rims, maybe the 300s
