Tour of Atlanta

Looks like crappy payout, but awesome courses. Better than a flat race in Naples!!!

Anyone else going?

I'm *thinking* about going since I have a 4-day weekend and could stay at my brother's place in Marietta for free.

We'll have some guys there. The promoter is notorious for crappy payouts. It's just far enough from here that a win doesn't cover gas and entry fees.

Look for guys in blue and green Beck kits.

Don't forget to turn in your homework before you leave town on Friday.

Best of luck.

I'll be looking for you guys!

Got an email yesterday that said they had a lot of out of state entries, I am wondering if this has to do with the US Pro Championships being in Greenville on Monday...the circuit race could be quite difficult...

ToA or in FL?

Look for the old man Jon Atkins in the P/1/2 fields. He's 47 and still killing it.

Will be riding the Burnt Mountain Road Race on Monday only - daughter's first birthday is on Saturday and family still in town thru Sunday. I'm hoping my "fresh" legs on Monday will be an advantage! This will be my first race as a CAT 4 and of course, noticed they recently a 2nd lap to the race for the 4's and they're allowing 3's the option of doing only 2 laps (racing with the 4's) vs doing 3 laps. This doesn't bode well for me.

Amy is going to Naples, so I'm guessing that Stubbs is a well. Could be wrong, though.
