Road Racing in Portland, OR

Hey all, I'm moving from NYC to Portland next spring and one of my major concerns is that lack of regular racing. What's it like out there? I see there's a regular crit at the Portland International Raceway. Anything else?

Also, I'm wondering what the relative level of competition is out there vs NYC. I've heard a lot of stories of cat 2s and 3s coming to NYC from somewhere else and getting blown out of the water. Anyone have any experience?

One more thing, where's the best place to look up upcoming races in Oregon? Is there something like bikereg.com out there?

Thanks a ton!

obra.org is the site you wanna look at
oregon has a thriving bike racing scene and a great community. There is literally a race just about every weekend and weekday crits throughout spring and summer. I'm sure some slow people from nyc could come over here and get blown out of the water as well haha, you'll just have to find out yourself.
