Why you don't put your arms up until you're over the line!!!

In the U23 Crit this evening, Keough puts his arms up before he crosses the line only to have Magner bike throw and win by a few inches!!!

Hope he learned his lesson! That's a tough way to lose a big race.

This seems to happen way to much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYBlGPCjsOA

Too many overconfident riders have done that. I'm surprised that someone on Adam's team didn't have the "make sure you win first" chiseled into their brain. To Adam's credit he retweeted the picture showing his guy losing and that's how I first saw it.

What did Adam say?

The rest of that team was at my races today. I just didn't have the heart to go over there.

+1

In fact Adam was there. SOC went over and said hi but I didn't go over.

For such a seasoned Pro like Zabel, it is astonishing to me, he did that.
